When we started looking for a web developer to build the face of our new venture, we obviously started the search at home; South Africa. Many mails later, we were shocked that most of the local developers quoted us almost 5000GBP for the job, they didn't seem to understand what we wanted and they sure didn't seem confident that they could deliver it.
